Turner & Grunt is an Eswatini-registered training and consultancy firm, delivering capacity-building programmes for governments, institutions and enterprise across Africa — backed by the infrastructure, construction and supply capability we built to support that work.
How training led to everything else
Turner & Grunt was registered in Eswatini in 2022, built around training and consultancy work delivered in partnership with Mpowered Eswatini, a technical and vocational training NGO. Running those programmes on the ground surfaced a gap we felt ourselves — reliable storage, office and classroom infrastructure was hard to come by. That gap is what became our General Supplies & Distribution business, which started by supplying shipping containers to meet exactly that need, and has since grown into a broader supply line sourcing products, equipment and materials for the Eswatini market. A construction and maintenance capability followed the same way, out of the site work that infrastructure required. Training is still where we start, and where most of our work sits today.
We've provided training and consultancy services to a number of regional governments and institutions, working with people from junior management through to senior management, board members and members of parliament. Our regulatory series focuses on strengthening regulatory capacity and oversight, while our HR programmes keep teams performing. Programmes typically run one to two weeks and are hosted in Eswatini, South Africa, Uganda, the Gulf (Dubai), Turkey, Malaysia and Singapore.
